Did you know ... Vacuum packing jars with VAMA

Thanks to the SC22 and SC32 control systems, VAMA chamber machines offer you the option of vacuum packing solid and liquid products in jars.

Select the menu item "vacuum sealing of jars" if you want to vacuum pack solid products such as grated cheese, olives and grapes in jars. It is important to use suitable jars such as preserving jars and twist-off jars. Place the filled jars in the vacuum sealer so that the jar does not touch the acrylic glass lid of your chamber machine and start the vacuuming process.

Liquid products such as soups, sauces and pasta can also be vacuum-sealed in jars. However, you will need the menu “packaging liquids” for this. Liquid products may only be packaged when they have cooled down. Here too, use suitable jars that do not touch the lid of your VAMA maschine. Special feature: Thanks to our intelligent control system, the vacuuming process is stopped in good time before the liquid leaks out of the jar.

No general statement can be made about the shelf life of products packaged in this way. This depends on the type of product and the level of vacuum. Please note, however, that the shelf life of jar packaging is not comparable to that of a semi-preserve, full preserve, preserved jam or similar products.
